Cheshire Homes receives donation from Toyota Zambia

Cheshire Homes Society of Zambia always seeks to collaborate with private and public sector Companies to serve persons with disabilities to achieve its mission; “To enable persons with disabilities to improve their quality of life and campaign for the removal of the barriers which hinder them”.

In view of this, Toyota Zambia donated very durable and new car seat upholstery material which will serve for the purpose of repairing the older wheelchair covers. This support of seat cover material will help prevent secondary disabilities such as scoliosis and other spinal deformities for persons with disabilities.

The Management of Cheshire Homes is glad for this gesture by Toyota Zambia for their contribution towards uplifting the living standard of persons with disabilities. Cheshire Homes Society of Zambia is looking forward for  more Private sector partnerships and collaboration to improve the quality of life and protect the rights of persons with disabilities in Zambia.
